Koyaanisqatsi Review

This 1983 film directed by Godfrey Reggie and displays very difficult shots to capture; at fast, slow and normal speed. The speed of the film is in sync with what type of scenery that is being shown. For example the start is the desert full of vast terrain and very minimal amounts of life which is shown at a slow pace to emphasize the point , compared to the clips of the city which shows crowds of people and traffic jams which are speeded up to emphasize the point of the hussle and bussle and hectic lifestyle many of us live. I think the film was very well created and made a point very clear point but also left the veiwer with an open mind as to other ways it could be enterpreted.
